Secure shredding at our site
works much the same way. Our drivers pick up your bins and instead of shredding
them at your site, we put them in a “box
truck” and shred them later at our secure facility. Since we don’t
have to bring a shredding truck to your site, this service is less expensive
than on site shredding. You still get certificates
of destruction and our drivers will log and maintain all of your bins on their
handheld devices.
Our new, 13,500 square foot plant is home to most sophisticated shredding technology available. The destruction process ensures that all of your materials are quickly and securely destroyed.
If we picked up boxes from your home or office, the boxes are brought directly to our plant where the contents are emptied onto the conveyor. The material then goes into the grinder, where it is torn at the fiber level, resulting in a confetti-like mixture. Once the materials have been shredded, they are sent to the baler where they are compacted and tied up.
The process is similar if your documents were
placed into one of our High Volume Secure Containers.
The HVSCs are brought to the plant where they are
placed on a tipping mechanism. The contents fall onto
the conveyor and undergo the same process as
described above.
